SupporterDiscovered an oily stake nut today on the rear. Not happy.
No oil on rims/brakes etc. Just a damp stake nut. Suspect new hub is on the cards.
.............
Cheers, Josh
It must be a bumper weekend, I fitted my new steel bumper today. Through the week, I modified and fitted the genuine D1 weather-shields to the D2.
Pictures tomorrow.

BTW I had to fiddle a bit this morning as the bar was too far forward on the LH side and was fouling the garnish strip on the quarter panel. I loosened the bolts and levered the bar back a bit which promptly broke the last remaining fixture of the RH side after my front diff guard came off on the GRR and clouted the quarter panel on the way through. In the end I trimmed a bit off the garnish to give clearance as the bar is on the chassis and the body was likely to be rubbed causing noise. The RH was fixed using copious self tappers and also trimmed.
Thanks to the poster who recommended taking out the self tappers from the corner pieces. I ended up cutting off the brackets as the corner pieces are pretty well held .

Finally got around to fitting the discs that have been here since February, although the pads and hoses turned up at least a month later.
Your can't rush these things...
So fancy pants discs, pads, braided hoses and a bleed with some Super Dot 4 fluid and then spent a while bedding pads.
Oh, and a fuel filter plus new water sensor and tightened the tank breather fittings that were weeping.
I'm amazed I didn't get interrupted as I only had one callout at 11:30 last night, home at 2:15am.
Hopefully I sleep well tonight, as long as the phone doesn't ring.
My bar is also too far forward, particularly at the bottom. It has broken both plastic trims. I'm mid refitting it with a couple of packers between the mount and bar.
does disconecting the reverse sensors disable the reversing lights?
Are the plastic trims still available, from?
