    The score is D2 - 1, Camper - 0!

The intercooler was worth every cent. Still travelling at under 90 degrees and not topping out the EGT as fast. Just thinking, I don’t think I’ve needed to back off the gas at all so far. I flicked the nanocom to the 2nd page of instrument mode and noticed the inlet air temp was 36 degrees but ambient outside was only 25 or so.

Warranty...the company ‘Far Horizon Campers’ is paying for the 250km or so tow from Waikerie to Aldinga Bach. They’ll fix and recheck it and I’ll pick it up when it’s done. Happy with the aftersales service so far. Not too happy with the wheel falling off but my family is all safe that’s all that matters.

    So wheel bearing were OK.......

Four nuts fell off than the two maiming snapped the studs before falling off.

Many years ago I forgot to tighten the wheel nuts on my 40 series cruiser....at least on the car I could feel something was wrong before the wheel went walk about.

Found out my D2a tank has at least 94.44L diesel capacity today after towing the brick 535 km from Northcliffe to Myallup via Margaret River = 17.65L/100km. At least the next bit to Freo used "only" 15.75L/100km sitting on 90 on Forrest Highway (flat land for you out of staters who would not know where that is).

With ambient at about 30C, Nanocom was showing around 1.00 boost, and coolant 95 degrees C, plus ATF at 65C (sensor at bottom rear of pan) and engine oil pressure at 30 psi. Better outcome than some previous trips, and I haven't tried the spacers under the bonnet hinge bolts for extra underbonnet cooling experiment yet.

    EDIT - EGTs between 500 and 600

You must have been running on vapours. I always thought it was 89l until reading the workshop manual the other week revealed it was 95l.

Good economy and temps considering the weight and shape of said brick.

    cheers

I picked one of these up for my daughter.

Go over it with a spanner as I found quite a few bolts & screws loose.

Put some grease on the wheel bearings and loosen them off, ours were VERY VERY tight.

I also made a divider to keep the fridge safe inside.

I did ask why he didn’t put a fridge divider in, didn’t really get a good answer. Going to take the wheels off & look at the bearings myself. The tow truck man said to always repack the bearings on any new trailer. Thanks for the hint about the bolts being loose. I’ll do that

The rear drivers side suspension was sitting quite low yesterday. After checking the SLS fuses and a few other things, I discovered this:

Having trouble seeing what’s wrong, can anyone point it out for me?
