    He's talking of the Ford/Bosch XR6 turbo, 4bar version.
    They work fine.

That's also Audi/VW ones that fit.
All much cheaper than genuine LR.

I went to Ford recently looking for one and they no longer sell them seperately, according to the bloke I spoke to. Also tried Repco ($105) and Bursons ($165), yes just the little 4bar regulator.

Found a genuine Bosch one on Amazon for $38.49 incl GST with free delivery. Got the gasket and new O-ring from my usual LR parts supplier (who by the way wanted almost $600 for a genuine FPR block complete ) and all good.
There is no eraser on the pencil of life.

Now - Not a Land Rover (2018 Dmax)
    Was - 2008 D3 SE 4.0l V6
    Was - 2000 D2 TD5 with much fruit.

As DDM said, can't beat the service, delivery times (within 24 hours) or value. Mario's knowledge and ethic are gold too.
All made possible by Heather's invaluable support. She's better looking than him, too.

Don't know about that. Mario is 6ft 5 or so. I have never seen Heather.

Before I had a Land Rover I did not have any torque wrenches. Now I have three.

Probably because she's always out the back, toiling.

Lots of info...the xr6 unit is Bosch..made in germany mostly unlike td5 units which appear to be PRC. They are rated at a slightly lower bar but so far mine which was out of an xr6 we had here has performed faultlessly. The td5 ones were lasting me 12 to 18 months before leaking.

Check internet..look for the German made unit.

    Coolant Tank Split

2nd one gone in 24 months..split underneath across the mid line seam. Got another from a different supplier this time. .. luckily as the dependants have horse riding tomorrow...see how this one goes I guess😐

Glad it lasted across the desert tho... where it could have been much much worse.. pays to pull the hood everyday with a disco..in fact that's why it's called a Discovery...you discover another problem each and every day☺

    Are you fitting genuine units?
