Took a trip to Bribie Island today with the kids. Saw a pod of dolphins just off the beach and I got to play in low range!!

    Following the ruts:

    A great view

Filled it with diesel, put a trailer on it. Put tools and a Nanocom in it and drove to Adelaide.

The fuel filler flap was not closing properly I had a look and straightened the latch plate. All good now.

    Red Dog lives........

    Hi There,
Today was the final episode installing the recon gearbox and the CDL transfer case. Bit of a marathon but everything now works as it should do, and it is quiet.

The nudge bar was looking decidedly average and had rusted through at the two attachment points, I had a new bar welded into replace the old one and had the bar colour coded to the vehicle, looks pretty smart even if I do say so myself.

Next project, head off and service, plus replace the timing chain tensioner guide thing.

    Cheers Marty

    Hi Stevo,
Which one did you get? Where from and how much? What size, does the T25 fit the Discovery turbo?

    Cheers Marty

    Couple of tips..

Just remember to spool down properly after a drive..
The blanket keeps the heat in and can Coke up the oil if not allowed to cool sufficiently.

And if you do water crossings and it gets wet make sure it gets a good enough run to dry out after.

Today on the way to work it lost lots of power.
Felt like the time the bus i was driving spat a boost hose.
Drove fine until a hill....hills it would pull at 90+ were taken flat to the floor at 60...
Pulled over and couldn't find anything wrong.
After work it was suddenly normal....
