I'm going to drop it out from below and replace, seal it up nicely, swap the new bearing and seal from this one over to my replacement. Plus some new hose clamps to sort the coolant leak that was doing my head in as I couldn't find where it was leaking from! Not what you want after a head gasket swap!
I noticed a smell of diesel this morning, when I got out of the car at work. I looked at the fuel tank, all looked good. Later on after dropping one of the boys at soccer training I saw a puddle of liquid under the car. I've had a quick look under the bonnet and under the car, the fuel is leaking from the rear of the engine. I'll remove the acoustic cover to get a better look. I'm thinking the FPR. I'll ring Ritters and MLR for a quote, just to give me the incentive to fix it myself.
C'est la vie.
