Put in a new 2nd hand fuel pump.

Going to see if that fixes the intermittent power problem. Time will tell.......

Old Pump had 2004 stamped on it, new 2nd hand one couldn't find a date but its a VDO unit.

So fingers crossed it will fix it, if not sure where else to look.

Interestingly enough it has a 2nd hand ECU in it, maybe the injector harness soaked the old one.

not today.. but had a disagreement with a patch of corrugated road and shook an SRS airbag connection loose somewhere...
does anyone have a basic road map of where the most likely connection culprits are? I'll have see an autoelec but prefer to give a possible start point and hopefully save some $$hours :

Oh and I completely forgot about the tek screw hissing away in my tyre that i picked up within a k of home.. better go out and get that changed...

If you have a nanocom or similar plug it in and check for faults, that will point you in the right direction. If not I usually find that it's the connectors under either the passenger or drivers seats. Simple job to unplug, spray with contact cleaner and plug in again. Beige plastic 2 pin plug which should be fixed to the undersea of the seat base

I've had the same problem a few times, including last week, after some Easter dirt roading.

    Cheers

Well fuel pump didn't fix intermittent power loss.....................

Then temporary radiator repair failed.... Common radiator fault its the small pipe going to over flow bottle.

So back to square one or even further behind..

Will spend time on the weekend removing radiator out of the wreck and stick it in the um daily driver??? Seems funny to call it daily driver, more like once a month drive vehicle

Always good practice and I would do it if you are fiddling with the connectors on the actual airbags in the dash or steering wheel. That said I've never bothered for the underseat plugs, which have been always the cause of my SRS light appearing.

    Cheers

    Put in for 10k service....

Cracked radiator, front prop shaft falling apart, oil leaks (no surprise there).

Last service it had engine mounts, axle bearings, hydraulic fan done...

Scared what the next service will be haha!

    Got me Disco back

Finally picked up the Disco, three days over due but looking good. They have put on the Td5 badge, which is coming out from the UK.
