Fantastic, thanks Arthur!
Slunnie, I've been through three NSW rego checks including the initial Blue Slip to transfer the rego from the NT and none of them have worried about the boots either, as there's no play
I've put it off as everyone says it's a **** of a job and I dont have half my tools here or a workshop anymore.
And I'm lazy. [emoji56]
Serviced Larrabbee, found a broken exhaust stud sitting by aircon compressor, #1 and a coolant leak up inbetween 4&5 exhaust manifold, is it a welch plug in there? Looks like it has a recessed allen key type head?
Didn't take too long, 12 minutes maybe

So ordered a couple of cheapie LED light strips, fitted them at the weekend, do we like them or not ?
Not sure myself ?
Hi Andrew, I have had the same problem, my gearbox has always been leaking AT fluid ever since I have my gearbox serviced and HD torque-converter fitted. I actually had a friend (bit anal) complain that my car always leaves a mess whenever I go round. Topping up the gearbox is a pain in the arse job as well, I don't like being under the car with someone going through the gears. How big a job is it to get it fixed ? I am at the point where I am going to take the car back to the gearbox specialist who fitted it, but it was over 2 years ago so sure they won't do it for free ?
Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Matt.
If it's only been leaking since the work was done then the places it's likely to be leaking from are .
Input seal ( gearbox out ).
cooler pipes into box ("0" rings, doable in car )
Sump pan gasket ( easy )
degrease it and have a look , noting that the input seal will leak from the bell housing.
really should have taken it back when you first noticed it , they won't do it gratis now
