With out the right tools, the hate is strong. It took me almost for ever to fit the thermostat. With the right tools, I reckon minutes.

OK I scored a set of Bridgestone D693 Desert Duellers 245 70R16 111T reinforced on stock rims painted black, yesterday on Gumtree and fitted them today. They have 7-7.5 MM on them and I understand from Google that 9Mm is new tread depth. dated 02 16 so good to go! and only $300 for 4 including rims. They balanced up with hardly a weight.
I have had for the last 6 years a set of BFG ATKOs in 255 70R16 . This was because I inadvertently bought 8 inch rims which I now know are from a 38A. I was told back then by a few tyre places that 245s would be no good on 8 inch rims which I now debate but back then I thought I would do some hard 4x4 but now getting too old.( and poor). Boy are those BFGs tough as but give a really jittery ride.
My BFGs are great and have about 75KK on them and have 2x10MM and 1x8 and 2 x6. They are 118/113 tyre so really heavy duty
My aim is to drop the gearing to make towing a bit easier although I guess that 235 70s (stock size)would be better. But I couldn't resist the deal!
I took the car for a test drive and the difference in smoothness was enormous and I think directional stability better.
So far very happy but I have to find another one for a spare!
Over to Gumtree again
What should I do with the BFGs . They are dated 4412 so are getting pretty old although no cracks or anything. Save them for the next round Oz I guess.

you can get the single flexible ones at parts shops but the others come in handy
I wanna get me some Knipex ones, have a set of Toledo flex heads.
Have Knipex 1000v pointy nose pliers, Oetiker clamp crimpers, etc.
Exxy but really good bits of gear.
And FWIW our German mates pronounce it with the 'K'
I got this one, after I replaced the thermostat. I think the long one with the remote bit would work well
