Wearing out the edges before the centre is a symptom of low tyre pressure.
I run 32 on the fronts and 38 on the rears.
Some times I have 20 on the fronts and 25 on the rears
Occaisionally I'll have 10 and 22![]()
I run 31 inch Duratracs on 16 inch rims. 32 in the front and 38 in the back works nicely. I have extra weight over stock including bull bar, sliders, steel rear bar etc so for my set up that works well. Even tyre wear and good ride and handling.
Cheers

Yeah it's 4inch into an custom airbox, I run td5inside remap and their hybrid turbo with an 3inch exhaust, allisport manifold and Serck intercooler, runs 26psi and it pulls so well and my egts on the freeway this morning around 400 at 110kmph, the snorkel does help I notice I have to use less throttle
Fitted a set of 4 x BFG AT KO2 265/70/R16 with Dynamic black rim 16x8 today on my 03 Manual TD5. It looks a bit more like I am going to off-road tomorrow LOL.
Car still is standard without lift and I can see and feel no rubbing. Although there is a bit of less power, and of course the speedometer is a bit of more than normal.
Btw, I will see how I fit the spare one there tomorrow, hopefully it will not be a challenge from what I read in the forum.
The spare should fit ok, it's only when you go to a 32" tyre (265/75-16) the carrier needs flipping or modifying.
I'm running 265/60-18's (roughly the same diameter) and the spare fits easily.
Oh, and no rubbing except one radius arm, just, at full lock.
I didn't touch the lock stops.
I'm sure theres a medical term for it---
Ever since my original LPG ecu died I havent been able to get any usefull info out of my OBD2 dongle, and after 6 odd years of having that info available, its hard to give up, I've tried about 4 different dongles now( and have another couple on order). I can get one to actualy connect to the cars ecm but get nothing but engine load and revs...
So I emailed the manufacturer of the ELM327 chip asking for help,, they were nothing if not polite, but say the actual iso j9141 part of the chip has not changed since first manufacture. They conclude that because Aus did not mandate OBD2 till after the D2 finished LR would not have connected it for Aus. They say some dongles may still connect. They understood the D2 was released worldwide.
So I emailed LR Aus asking for help, the nice customer service person forwarded my enquiry onto the Technical Department who said they were unable to help.
So i emailed LR Pommyland,, who are yet to get back to me..
but never fear,, I have the email addy for BMW tucked away....

The original ones?
I can't even recall which side or if it's forward or reverse?
It's only now and then.
BTW this turned up today. (And two new Lemförder TRE's)
I couldn't be arsed straightening the current one as it needed to come out to be straightened anyway.
If I have time in the morning I'll hit it with some etch primer and satin black.
It's a little too blingy in gold passivated zinc.
No such thing as too blingy, Rick.
