I ran off the road while returning home at Easter. It is most probable (certain) that my insurer will determine that D2 V8 auto is written-off.
If anyone is interested, it should be coming up for auction at Manheim Salvage Auctions soon.
Motor is good, had new hi-torque cam & variable Rhoads lifters fitted 15k ago. Auto gearbox is good. 5 off 16 x 8 genuine alloy rims
Has been a great car, returning low 14L/100km on highway runs. Will miss it.
Now need to move on the host of parts

I parked at the servo at Bordertown on Wednesday, next to a white ute. I am at the back of the car and I hear the engine start. The TD5 has a very distinctive sound. I check on the co-driver, also at the back, then look in the drivers seat, it is empty. The ute slowly backs away and I see the TD5 label on the front!
Started tearing the back end off.
And by back end, everything from the B pillar back.
FYI if any one is thinking about turbo upgrade I just did mine so AMA :P
It seems every bit of info out there says you want to change the oil and both filters along with a fresh oil feed line. No one seemed to mention that to get the banjo off for the oil feed line you need to remove the spin on oil filter housing, you will need one gasket for that, P/N =LVH100230, and crush washers obviously.
And before fitting up the new turbo onto the manifold get a water bottle and run the car to push out and flush the new line until you see your fresh oil, as it seems the TD5 will run with out the fuel pump relay, so best to flush it before bolting the turbo up.
Not sure there is any other way, this is the banjo that has no room to get at.
