Rear Door Ladder and Rear Step

The rear door ladder and rear step arrived to day. When I am back on my feet I'll install them.

Interesting place to chop it. Are you going dual cab or single/ extra? Would have thought it would have been easier to bolt the three quarter panel rather than hacking it?

Was a quick cut to see the condition below (and to ensure I keep going rather than rebuild as a wagon)

Can’t be bothered unbolting then separating the panels - next cut goes across the roof and floor then the entire back section heads to landfill.

Biggest PITA was getting the loom and aux gear off.

    Just washed it.
Someone should invent a Wi-Fi hose - so next time the hose does not get tangled around my feet whilst dismounting the step ladder.
Shoulder should heal eventually, pavers are hard!

Very true, but it's a bloody long way to the corner.

Took to the back with the recip saw a bit more before a call from Emma had me head off to the Barossa to pick her up.

I’ve sourced the tub for the conversion, so that’s one item ticked off on the build list for my D2 ute.

Got home from the Central West driving the Triton...felt a bit guilty looking at the D2...(40,000k update in the Asian vehicle thread). The D2 would have been more fun but the Trito was the smart choice to take out of the 2 vehicles.

    Cheers

I use one of those, they're great. You can use just a short hose and move them around the car as you wash.

    Cheers
