    Tyre buggered

Young son driving the car hit the curb a bit too quick and damaged the sidewall on the front driver's side tyre. At least he learned how to change a tyre.

Before I had a Land Rover I did not have any torque wrenches. Now I have three.

Locate differently? The Valente has wheel studs not nuts, painful to fit. The LR locates on the studs the same as just about every other thing. He knows where the bonnet release is after the car got a bit hot!!
Since we were at home he used the trolley jack and the impact driver and then the torque wrench.

    Exactly.

Anything post D1 and Older Defender are spigot located, stud retained. Like almost every vehicle.

D1, RRC and other 165.1 PCD just use studs to locate - nothing magic

Maybe learned the 13 number for the RACV, that's how a lot of kids get tyres changed these days. Parents don't want them hurting themselves by taking a risk.
