Have to admit, so am I. I have never owned one ( yet ), but until today I've never heard a bad word about him or his shafts.

I've been using him for years and years, as in I'm pretty certain I kicked him off in Aus with LandRover. I think Kaaaiju and Stefan Fisher (Alloffroad Adventures in his D2) were the only ones I'd heard were not happy, Tombie now too. I'm not sure what the common factor is, breaking them! :lol2: Tom does all of my shafts, I don't know.
I have a Tom Woods in mine. Probably been 9 years now and so fer so good
Tom's greasable centre bearing HD shafts have a very solid reputation here and in the US for offroad use in the Jeep and Land Rover communities. He was excellent to deal with - very knowledgeable, responsive and a nice guy, (but I approached him in the right way too - ie reasonable and courteous). Mine has been excellent and has been flogged up hill and down by the 4.6 manual (so it doesn't get an easy time) and towing 2 tonnes with a heavy, lifted D2. Cheers
This is the smaller Glywn Lewis prop shaft I got, the one I have now is even bigger haha
TW looks small in comparison
You've got a beast with all of the big turbo crazy engine power upgrades and big tyres and lift don't you! :lol2:
The TW and small Glynn Lewis are both 1310, the baby TW also, you can get them in whatever size you want and they're tubed to suit. I chatted to Tom about 15 years ago re 1350's for the D2, he can do them but he said if there are any problems such as vibrations etc the additional weight will magnify them.
The big 2020 shaft from Glynn Lewis is like a Big Cap 1310 with caps from a 1350 increasing the size from 27mm to 30.2mm. The 1350 increases the uni size also from 81.8mm to 92mm. The 2020 should be a good shaft, I'd expect similar to the 1330 but more compact. If you break the Glynn Lewis 2020 too then your next step up is the 1350.
In terms of torque capacity in lb/ft (yanks)
1310 1600lb/ft
2020 1716ft/lb
1330 1850ft/lb
1350 2200ft/lb
I'm not sure if the Glynn Lewis ones bolt straight on, but I suspect the TW 1350's will need an adaptor which look like this.
