Whilst it wasn't yesterday, but in the last few days. Disco got some roof racks ready to carry a couple of kayaks.
Always been interested in adaptive kayaking.
Not sure on roof racks as like the roof line how it is but need them really. They will be useful for camping trips where I take my off road powerchair as well as need extra space for things. 2 wheelchairs fill even the Disco up very fast.

There're pretty discreet Leone, the Disco still looks good.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

That probably means they'll have negligible effect on fuel economy.

Put one in I got from SuperAutoCheapBarn or some one and it lasted about 30 minutes before the gas ate it. Far as I know the Aldi one is still there. Sold the car two years ago.

Dunno about the O ring sets, but quite a lot of their stuff is German. Of course, a lot of their stuff also isn't...... Vernier callipers spring to mind. Still, ,fine for 3D modelling..
And the replacement vanished on Saturday!! Of course the box of O rings is at home!

Try some Viton o’rings. And a small swipe of rubber grease.

Curious as to what is "adaptive" kayaking?
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

Basically equipment and things that are purely to assist those with disabilities to do things, for example with kayaking, I've got an Adaptive paddle. It's got equipment as part of it to safely keep my hand on the paddle. I may need an Adaptive seat designed for a paraplegic, offering support where our core function isn't. There's lots of Adaptive things for all sorts. I have a lot of Adaptive equipment for different activities like my horse riding and archery. I'm thankful there's lots available for kayaking with disabilities otherwise I'd be inventing my own equipment haha

It's great. I remember how hard it was getting our good mate Mario into a boat. Just a boat. I think things may have improved, and continue to do so. I certainly hope so.

Yesterday, actually. Had to replace a split CV boot, so decided to change the axle seal, as I had one. Discovered that the generic ball joint tool kit I have contains the perfect tool for refitting the seal.

    IMG_5396.jpgIMG_5397.jpg

The disk has a perfect taper to fit the inner part of the seal, the flat is almost exact on the body of the seal and the outer diameter fits into the axle yoke bit wth about a mm clearance. Couple of good taps with the FBH and done. I was happily astonished. Now to make something to tighten the CV boot clamps.....
