I can't remember where I saw them, might have been the U.S. but I think I saw some in Australia as well recently.
What is the proper term for it?

No they aren't, I have wondered if you measured the circumference, whether you could get some thin walled silicone hose that would fit.

Almost all of the original ones are had it now irrespective of treatment.

    Hi Ian,

Recently fitted one of the aftermarket ones, available on ebay or from Landnut in North Brisbane. Fitted up easily and streets ahead of the original, which was crumbling. With some sealant, the snorkel is finally watertight.

Here is Landynut ebay listing save a couple of dollars. Can pick up in Burpengary if you are visiting your sister.

I got a pretty decent one from Pop, then reinforced it with aviation silicone tape.
Ham hands managed to wreck it.

Not quite, I mean, I could go but would not be as comfortable as I would like.

No awning yet and back not set up.
