How many times do you hear them D3 and D4 guy`s say the best car that had ever owned was the D2 and regret getting rid of it .

Honestly all the pedantic soles around here whinging about their cars unreliability is 9 times out of 10 caused by them or a crap mechanic or the Po

So yes they aint a spring chicken and they need to be cared for alike by the right people

Agreed... I replaced the injector harness over the weekend, and it definitely helped, though there's still some vibration. Next up: mounts!

I hear more people say the opposite about moving away from the D2
And you're entitled to your opinion about 'pedantic souls'. Other people are also entitled to tell you what they think of your opinion
And if it's the fault of the PO or a crap mechanic, what do you achieve by having a go at them? It's not necessary.

Let the 4.6 roar up to Maleny and back to Brisbane. Sounds awesome pulling up the range in 4th and just letting the torque do its job. I love the free flow exhaust and cats under those conditions.

    Cheers
