What did you edge it with?
I've used splice (fly screen tube) for edging before but it's hard to cut without it twisting.

Some rubber trim from Clark rubber. Can't remember it's exact name. Does the job pretty good.

Washed mine sometime back and they shrank so much they were useless. Luke warm water and air-dried.......expensive mistake to make......

However they stank so much they were not going back in the car without some attempt at cleaning.

Fitted a side step! Only managed one as time was tight but the other will go on in the morning.

It was a painful exercise, mashed a finger and copped a flying socket to the eyebrow. Opened me up nicely!

Went to fit the nice leather steering wheel I got from Ken, realised I don't have torx bit keys
So I fueled it and cleaned the windscreen in preparation for a cannonball run tomorrow

Today I discovered why you should never fix leaks in Land Rovers. When you fix one another is sure to start...
Fixed all the little coolant leaks and this morning I was greeted by a mess of PAS fluid on the driveway. Started the car and sure enough that horrible steering on hard full lock noise was LOUD and then there was more PAS fluid on the ground.... Oh well it looks like it may be steering pump time.
    Cheers,

My D2 ticked over 280k today, on a cannonball run to Sydney to collect an intercooler for Basil135 and then up to Newcastle to collect a locker for SteveG, then back. Car ran well, very comfortable at 115, 700+kms to 3/4s of a tank.

Could also be the feed line for the pump , they rub through on the sump/block , if it is then zip tie some old heater hose over that area when its repaired.
