put in a set of ceramic (dustless) pads. I've been running them in my wifes volvo for about 4 years and they have pretty much eliminated the dust. So hopefully they will be the same on the Disco. As I'm sick of the black wheels.
I also swapped out my brake lines for some braided longer ones for a 2" lift ones. For anyone changing the brake lines, a few tips:
install the banjo end on the caliper while on the bench (but don't lock it in). otherwise it is too hard to get the banjo bolt on when the other end is connected.
with the fronts, install the lower clip before you connect the hose at the top.
Job went, ok for the rears. Both fronts had the caliper guide pins nearly seized. The drivers side I had to remove the carrier and put it in the vice to get the guide pin out. The grease had all gone rock hard. The brakes were bled at the service just before I bought it, so I never thought to check them. I normally grease them when I bleed the brakes, but obviously some mechanics dont...
