putting it together was the easy part it was knocking the old uni's out that was a pain as i dont have a uni puller so had to do both usin's at once to get it apart putting back together was easy as could do one uni at a time,
but id still rather knock kdub 44000lb uni's in and outstill
So... at end of day I've done nothing for the Turbo, scalded my hand and found I need to replace the fan and radiator.... the latter I think Ill replace with an uprated all alloy rad rather than the standard QUOTE]
Keen to know which alli radiator you chose; issues and performance.
Considering replacing it also.

was just thinking may as well do the fuel cooler too since ya got the coolant droped and all the hoses off too (i am about to do mine for same reason just wish i knew about the fricken radiator hose interference before i did the sump and oil pump bolt or i would of done it all at the same time)

this would also be a good thing to do as well while all apart as the auto cooler lines are apprently a pain in the ass to do, would pay to have them changed from the connectors on it to a dash 8 or 10 fitting to make it easier.
ask muppet as i think he is the last person to do it on here atm

Hi All, only a newbie here so sorry if this has been done better before, but I removed the facia containing the coin and ash trays (three Philips screws behind each) as neither would come out on their own. I found the plastic on the main frame broken that holds the spring in place. So a small hole was drilled and the end of the spring held in place with thin wire(quite stiff wire) and job done, put back together and working perfectly.
