Listened to the stuck pig getting worse...sounds like transfer case and is worse in 4th and 5th and low range...booked in to get a very low kilometre (less than 40k) one swapped in.

    Cheers

Decided to fit the second air bag today, seeing as I've now paid for it. I thought removal and especially replacement of the wheel was the worst part of the job. I was wrong, taking the failed bag off again is.DSC_1157.jpg

yeah. i turned off the engine/radiator fans and its shows 13.5v
the ute (same engine/alternator) is 14.3v

apparently these alternators reduce their voltage when the battery isnt drawing much.
so im wondering if this is the case, or fault rectifier. or if the alternator is too hot

fridge is only a 40l, 30 years old engel. i had room for 3 batteries, so i thought why not.

I did mine today but the new ones have push in connectors, drivers side was a pain but passenger side had enough hose to just cut off. Hardest part was getting the car high enough.

Push the collar of the connector in and pull the airline out, no cutting required.

Yup they're easy but the old one I cut with the nut and olive as I couldn't get in to turn it. Maybe I should have deflated it and undone the clips to drop it enough to get at?

so you did add a small length to each side/hose ?
makes it a simple job to pump the bags up separately if the compressor carks it,,
also releases some of that tension---
oh and how do you change one without deflating it?
or am I the only one that reads it that way,,

Got 4 amigos! TC HD ABS Handbrake. Think they just popped up to say hi to Trump. Went away with a restart. Might have to buy unlock codes for my recently purchased hawkeye.
