There are threaded holes in the mudguard , and you can mount the separator by just bending a couple of bits of steel strap and drilling holes in the appropriate places.
I put some nylon braided hose on the bottom with a ball valve down on the chassis.

Very neat install there cobber. My battery shelf is occupied by an air compressor so my oil separator install will mirror yours - thanks for sharing.....

    Fuel usage.

A trip to the Gold Coast and back ( around 455kays) for a wedding resulted in a 6.3Klm per litre return using LPG at 71cpl,,
    15.8L per hundred, 17.7mpg.
That included half an hour city traffic.

not sure how to better that,,,,
    maybe a tailwind

that gives me a 800klms range just on lpg,, add on the 45l of PULP and OMG,,

That unit is only rated for an engine making up to 100kw.

Bit undersized for a TD5, especially if tuned/modified/old.

    It seems to work OK.

AFAIK it is exactly the same physical size as a Flashlube pro.

    And from their FAQS

Q: Is the Flashlube Catch Can Pro big enough for my engine?

A: Testing has shown that the Catch Can Pro can handle all 4WD applications, even with a chip, aftermarket exhaust, turbo and larger snorkel. It can handle flow of up to 250 litres per minute. A well-worn V8 LandCruiser (200,000km) blows between 85-90 litres per minute.

The difference I can see is that the Flashlube has a cotton type filter like a Provent vs the stainless steel filter in the one I bought. IMHO this should not make any difference or actually the stainless be better for flow.
The inlet and outlet pipes are 19MM so the same as the rocker cover vent so the pipes can be joined with a copper pipe sleeve.
I cannot see any downside so far, the oil seems to be going down the drain, and I have had the car on full 21LB boost and 700C EGT and no strange things happened.

Yesterday the power steering intake hose finally rubbed through on the block (stupid design!!!) and dumped all my fluid...
while chasing a used one (no new ones in stock in Hobart and I needed it in the road for this morning) I stumbled across a well priced manual TD5 Disco...
took it for a drive and pretty much decided to buy it...until I had a chat with JC about it. Run away is what I did...straight into the arms of a 2003 D2a manual in metallic red with black interior!
    hopefully picking it up tomorrow...
