Finally fitted up my sheep skin seatcovers I purchased from AULRO a fair while ago. Flash as Michael Jackson and now hides the tear on my drivers side that has been giving me the willies for a while
.
put the carpet back in along with the side trim mouldings for the floor after removing it to dry it out after my leaking windscreen episode. Gave the floor seams some lovin with lanolin whilst Chaffy was undressed.
removed the CD stacker and wiring as it no longer plays. Put both front seats back in, have left the centre console out for now as I need to do some Macgivaringon it to strengthen it up. Going to use some aluminium I think underneath it around the electric window area.
I need to drill new holes for my cup holders in my new to me centre console. Have already changed over the lids as mine was better. I wish we could get new ones, would solve some issues.
Still waiting on my new front tailshaftSo Chaffy is regulated to around town duties until it arrives.
He is going to get a tub tomorrow to remove all the road grime and left over cyclone refuse. Make him look shiny and new
still deciding on whether I want to go through with fitting up a double din stereo or just run with a single din and forego mapping and reverse camera and possible tv.
I got the HAWKEYE out and cleared the ACE fault codes resulting from my recent mishap and then calibrated the ACE system and checked that the live data was within normal limits (thank you sierrefery, I found an old post on the subject by you from August 2015)

So, I fitted my new Nanocom to the car on Saturday. I still have to work out how to mount it properly yet.
Took a few of the kids for a drive to Burketown today.
In instrument mode the Nanocom read temps from 88-93. once at 93 it would quickly drop back to 88-89, I assume this was either the fan going harder or the thermostat opening? Driving at 100ph, 40 degree ambient (yes, it's cooled down around here), noticed driving to Burketown it ran slightly hotter, we had a fair headwind, tailwind home & slightly cooler running?
Turbo boost cruising at 100 stayed between .5 & .7, got up to 1.7 under hard acceleration.
Volts were 13.5 or slightly above.
I didn't go into the other pages because I was driving & the thing was sitting on the centre console.
I also cleared faults which were multiple 3 amigos & 1 X turbo over boost.
I think the Temp readings are OK? Turbo boost I have no idea & volts seem all good.
BTW can you move the gauges to different screens on the Nanocom? Road speed & RPM seem useless.
Anyway, nice drive, kids had a swim in the Nicholson & I got to play with the Nancom equipped D2a for a bit.
