Hmmm, not always, I drove a Wolsley 4/44 down Willunga Scarp, I hit 100mph. The brakes faded and I thought the engine would **** itself. The top speed of these is meant to be 76 mph. The car had skinny cross plys, maybe retreads. The things you do when you are young, about 17 I think. I did not intend to go that fast.

The old girl has had a service including a transmission service service and radiator flush so she is good to go for the 1100k trip from Kunnunurra to King ash bay on Sunday.
She has been struggling with towing the new boat a bit so I have had to keep the speed down to about 85kph so that she doesn't get too hot But that's no drama really as I have all the time in the world to get where I want to go.

Nearly as much fun as riding a slow motorcycle fast. Then you know you're alive!

Washed him and replaced rear blinker and brake bulbs with LEDs. Work a treat! That’s 1 item off the list.

I've tried a couple of led bulbs for brakes and they've all been a disappointment. It would be great to know which ones did you use and how bright they are.

finished pulling it apart, started putting it back together with a new water pump and seal's,
Drilled some holes in the pas/water pump bracket so it drains out rather then staying full of crud
