Wish I could buy some time on eBay...
This looks interesting! I was having thoughts yesterday about buying one of those Davies Craig trans coolers from SCA they look pretty promising.

    My parts are attempting this.....

    And this
    Auto cooler upgrade

With AN-8 fittings with PTFE hose kit from eBay. Oil cooler is 15 row. Over engineered and would probably be easier to go and get the TRS upgrade installed BUT where is the fun in that!

Here is the photos of the resealing i did of the a pillar.
Where i have circled is where the holes were it took some digging out.
When pumping the sika in it came out on the inside so i sealed it up there as well since i had the linner out anyway.

oh how i hate snowy right now and well not making sure it was unlocked before i closed the drivers door to check the adjustment of the door handle

so i can confirm discovery 2 as being an absolute pig of a thing to break into, even with the door trim off i could not unlock it, gave up and cut the rear door 1/4 vent window out and even with that loose and holding the button up still would not unlock, so had to remove the glass completely and reach in use the inner door handle
so if someone is going to be stupid enough to steal a disco they will break a window.

plus side drivers door now opens every pull instead of every 2nd.

I discovered that my fuel gauge is out - when it shows just under 1/4 it’s empty! At a closer inspection of the odometer it shows 35km, so it’s done 1035km. Yes that’s about right for 142lt.

Of course these things always happen when ur dressed for church...
