    Transmission oil change

    Today I changed the oil in the gearbox, Manual and the transfer case. I misplaced the gearbox filler/level plug, and had chased up MLR for a replacement. $16.00 odd My neighbour came out with a metal detector and found the plug. Woo hoo.
    I checked the front and rear diffs, both are full and the oil looks like it went in yesterday. It is due to be replaced in March Any reason why the oil looks so good?

    A mate helped me tonight replace the engine mounts... 2hrs flat including remove and replace engine cover, would have be 1hr 45min with a better jack...
    The Disco is super smooth now... even noticed the difference on start up... the instrument panel doesn’t rattle at the lights when in Drive.... amazing!
