can someone remind me why the D2 front tyre pressure is so low compared to the rear?
    AFAIK
    1 gives understeer at limit
    2 ride quality
    3 steering stability

Ride is largely decided by front load by back hence the high pressure in the back.
I always run the placarded pressures give or take a PSI and has worked well with 3RRCs and now disco2.

    Maybe mine are crap ones.

Yup! I have come across a few reviews from unhappy customers who purchased the chinese cheapies so this week when I buy cable pliers I’m going for a quality MAYHEW tool that wont let me down.

Yep, but it seems to work.

The D2 is the first car I've run placard pressures (after experimenting)

I really should give mine a tub again one day.

Parts turned up from Mario and Heather@Roverlord and some Maxi Drive goodness was ordered from MR.
I have Friday off work so that should be install new bits and service the auto (again) day.

See you changed your snorkel. Is it a 3 or 4 inch diameter now? Was that due to other mods?? I personally prefer the safari look. Wish Safari would re release them in the bigger sized intake like the cruisers. Surprised that Les richmond hasn’t asked for that with his LS conversions.

Im still running the old safari snorkel with Chaffy.
After a new AMC head as well as a few other things he’s running with a bit of extra boost big intercooler and a pretty aggressive tune. Goes well but the EGT’s do climb quick. Got to keep an eye on the gauge when I’m into it. Be interesting to see how he goes with the colder weather this winter after 7 years in the Territory.

I ran 34 all round (36 in the rears towing) for the entire tyre life of the last set and the wear on all four was the same--

and they all wore the edges out before the centres...
