I'm also concerned it'll deteriorate quicker on the car.

Installed an Alpine halo9 I picked up for a fair price, just need to install the camera, was fun trying to work out a bracket, but a nice piece of Make-a-Bracket from the big red n green store helped, took me a day n half, hate lockdown.

Hi kaaaiju it’s the older f259, paid 600 for it including the waterproof Alpine camera from another formum member who bought a RNgie before he installed it

Did you run into any problems installing it? I've had mine for over a year now sitting in the cupboard. I really want to put it in now after seeing this.
