Hopefully not! It might be worth pulling the injector, checking for a crack and replacing the seal around it.

    When mine cracked it sprayed.
    Cheers

Cracked alright. I found an AMC head was significantly cheaper to buy direct from Turner Engineering in the UK and it arrived to my work within about 1 week. The vast majority of the delivery time was actually within Australia.

I have that crack on every port in much the same spot? seems strange. any one got a pic of a clean head thats not AMC ?

Only 1 port leaking when cold, maybe more do when warm.

Yeah I seen tuner is cheaper than like all4x even some other ebay sellers in the UK selling it cheaper even if you include import tax.

guess its time to get a new head :P

I think it died. Previous owner had spliced into into the back dome light for an LED on a post. I have the interior apart to deal with the headliner. Went to move that wire for the LED’s switch, it sparked on contact with the roof. Now it won’t start. Immobiliser doesn’t even yell at me when I disconnected and reconnected the battery. Headlights come on, dashboard lights up, horn honks, I can hear the fuel pump doing its thing, but no juice to the starter. Only fuse that looks blown was the 15A under the hood for auxiliaries. S&M auto transmission lights flash, oil & battery lights stay on. Got a few beeps from the dash on a turn or two of the key, but can’t get them again.

Have you tried running a test wire direct to the starter solenoid?

I just had a look at my spare head, exact same mark on every port. I reckon it's a machining mark.

I couldn't get a decent shot but here it is anyway.

Thanks, Yeah I had to move the light around to get it to show up nice for a pic.

Does look the same as mine and I have that in all ports but in slightly different spots, maybe it's just were the port is weak and those things turn into leaking cracks over time. I will bang on some new seals on the weekend and see if it keeps leaking but the previous guy did them 2019 and the rings still have a good bump height to them around the seal. :-/

Does any one use any injector port/seat cleaning tools when doing injectors ?
