And then there is the difficulty of getting out of them after a several hour trip. You need to fold up like a "bunny" knife.
Possibly why I like driving my series 3 so much.

    Cheers, Mick.

I haven't check, but maybe the electric auto dimming and compass mirrors are bigger than the poverty pack mirrors?

yeah, the electronic mirrors are a fair bit bigger than the standard 1s. I have noticed certian angles are worse but Im 5'8 so not a great prob. The A pillars on most new sedans are a helluva lot worse.

Visibility isn't something many complain about in a D2
Never noticed it being a problem. If it is, I can duck my head.

You know I just get sooooo fatigued manually dipping the mirror, and my god turning the key to start is just so 20th century, and the handbrake just don't get me started . I mean the effort it takes to pull that heavy lever.

And don't ask when it comes to actually having to manually turn on those wipers.

    Regards Philip A

    The Question was <

does the rear vision mirror give you a blind spot to your left ?
    ,,
as only noticed when a car pulled out from the left and my wife asked did i not see him ,,, well no the stupid mirror makes a blind spot right where traffic from the left is <<<<

Now i dont use it ,, i just ripped it off ,,
Problem soled ,,as a truck driver i only use the side mirrors anyhow ,,,
