As per DM, the clunk in my rear end was watts linkage bushes. Noticeable especially when turning into driveway. Get underneath with a jemmy bar and have a play.

Thanks I have given the watts linkage a play with a pinch bar had my son bounce on the toe bar and rock the car side to side the watts seems good but the shocks knock like a bugger. So it seems like a new set of shocks problem now is finding a good shock I was going to go for terra fimma but Disco Muppet has me a bit gun shy on them may be Monroe or ome. Thanks again to all for your help.

Great shocks. I'd recommend you replace the factory rubber bushes with good poly ones. The rubber can at times flog out quickly when they're full of mud and grit. So far I've never worn out poly ones - I think I run Rancho bushes in the front and Superpro in the rear.
    Cheers
