    APT Rear Bar

After having a few age cracks then wrecking the rear plastic bar at Jenowen Hills in a ridiculously deep V exit I opted for an APT bar that I picked up from Ben and fitted today. Ben has used a powder coat with Teflon in it. Has a nice textured finish more like the plastic when it was new and slippery so easy to clean.

As per normal with APT GREAT product built and sold by a great fella for a great price. I mean why go Terrafirma...or Kaymar when APT is made here and is the best quality parts I have seen and cheaper than the other offerings.

Anywhere in Australia just order it and be confident in the order.

As strong as the bar is my preference would be to do hard recoveries using the recovery hitch in the town point as pictured above.

Good bloke, Ben. And has great tutorials for installation of his products.

For sure. The Bar in the video is the one he moved to that was lower profile again and with LED lights. I prefer the one I got but the LED one is nice too. I think he is doing both now. I just added some anti slip tape which is handy when climbing up to the ladder. Cheers 20170211_182833.jpg

Ben only had the version with the standard lights when I replaced mine a few months ago. I actually wanted the one with led's. Website was updated.

He ran out of the LED type, and had to source a new provider.

Ben was saying that people wanted the thicker profile one to take stock lights which is why he moved back to that. From memory he is doing some thinner ones with LED lights but they are for his swing away tyre carrier model. Cheers

    Cheers
