I have not but would love to know how they go if you do use them.
I recently fitted OEM replacements and they are not right. The sheath moves around too much on the main bolt for my liking.
Anyone tried the Superior SPF4400K Watts Linkage bushes for the Discovery 2? Must be a fairly new addition in their range.
SuperPro Watts Link Bush Kit for LAND ROVER DISCOVERY 1998-2004 - Series 2
Price looks like between $250.00 to $350.00 depending on where you shop and when...

Yes I have installed them about a month ago. I paid $250.00 The old ones pressed out easily. The Superpro cottonreel bush needed to be pressed in with heaps more grease than supplied. I had to pay to get it done as I don't have room for my own press at the moment. The bushes seem to be good so far but it is early days.
The only annoying thing now t h e clunking is gone from the rear I can now hear another clunk from the front.![]()
Awesome, please give us another update in six months or so and maybe again each year. Would be great to know how they go long term. I've replaced mine with genuine/OEM within the last 18 months so won't need doing again for a while but handy to know about the alternatives and I've been happy with other Superpro products I've had.
I recon about 12 months in and it’s all good. Pressing in the cotton real was a total pain took 3 hours. I ended up using a bolt through the middle and big washers on the top to squeeze them in that said they are working great. I got a trade deal on them through supercheap.
So I think my super pro bushes will be up for warranty claim. They seem to chewing out the top one.
Mongrel job
Bugger
I fitted Superpro to centre of Watts link only (the 'cotton reel').
Yep, pain in the arse to fit. Tried first with a press, then bolt, nuts and washers. Chased the thing around the garage for hours.
But it's in and so far so good.
Can't see why the top bush would flog out. Can you describe the wear?
