Thanks, I've just cropped it as there was far too much sky and sand.

Getting new tyres 8/2 and so the weights will move and the will need touch up. So, very tempted to try satin black.

I'll change it in Photoshop first and post a pic.

Finally managed to get a reasonably ok D2a Td5. I'm planning to change to some ATs though. Big thanks to Carl at Green Light car care for giving it a thorough going over!

Silver 2a has gone. Need to pay an urgent bill...... Plus I get tired of cars real easy. Always looking for the next challenge or something.....
Although I had my doubts, I think I worried more than I possibly should. Most its faults I got fixed and where common Disco 2 things.

So onwards and upwards as the say.

Its low on power and has a leaking FPR. But going to fix that this weekend.
This time around I was a lot more informed and knew what to look for. Previous owner didn't know about the FPR. He gave up on it as he just spent 1500 on having the XYZ switch replaced. Just before Xmas he spent 1k on tyres. Also has 12 months rego.

Cames with a pile of invoices for services etc. This doesnt faze me if he didn't have them. But the car presented tidy, that was the main thing.

Its bog stock standard apart from the bull bar.

This is my wife's D2.
It's our first Land Rover vehicle. The last one was an Toyota Land Cruiser BJ45 double cab.

In the last year we've been restauring the D2... we've made entirely the TD5 engine (up and down), rebuild the zf4hp22 auto gear box, transfercase changed and so on
