    Last time I have been to Sodwana was when sand driving all over was still allowed. Whent up to Mabibi on the sand.
    Going up Sani pass through Lesotho, Katse and out at Fouriesbrug side.
    Will see if I can to write a report on the trip and post it here.

    Mine,

    1999 V8 auto with ACE.

    320,000 kms.

    Rebuilt motor, replaced shocks, springs and brakes. Otherwise stock (except rear resonator fell off).

    It's just a Uni bar. Nicked it off an Astra I used to have.

    Without the rear resonator it sounds a fraction throatyier, but drones at 80km/h. According to the local exhaust people I should get fractionally better milage with it off (haven't really noticed) but it seems a smidgen down in torque. Could be just a perception though.


    Overall, I'm very happy with my S2.

    It's an odd colour. Dark blue in the shade and a sort of greeny blue in direct sunlight. I've only seen two others the same colour.

    Since that photo I've had the bonnet, roof, upper half of the front fenders and rear quarter panels resprayed.

    The chrome wheel arch strips came with the car (I bought it used) so can't claim any credit for those. They don't like trees.
