Have both shafts, with all 4 UJ;s, flex coupling and rear pinion bush serviced. A balance should be part of the job. Drive in drive out should be around $600 - $800 for a proper job.
I wonder what you got done extra Jmk??

mine worked out a touch over 400,,, 100 and a bit for parts(including freight)

    Pedro,

The way I read that JMK had front AND back shafts done.

Mark/Pedro, yep - both shafts and the other bits I mentioned. I was lazy, so it was drive in and drive out of the tailshaft shop. Magic happened - it was all fixed....

It all started with the front Cardon-joint UJ playing up after much caravan towing.

    Cheers

    Hi Ricey,

    How much did they charge?

As I need mine done, and am looking for somebody in Sydney/wollongong area.

    thanks.

Whoever you get to do it, get the Hardy Spicer 1310 greasable unis, had mine in for 3 years, previous to this was replacing them ever 6mths (I have a 4" lift, makes it more prone to failure)

I had a similar thing happen to me a while back. Had a faint vibration for a week or so. Took it to Davis Performance @ Annangrove. Actually had cracks in the uni's at the front. Had a look at it after they took it out for a new one. $750 later and I was back on the road.
