I'm wrecking a disco that will have the bits you need....
???There is only 1 ENGINE ECU, and it doesn't talk to the other SRS, ABS or any other ECU in a D1. 14CUX ECU is stand alone, even in the later RRC it doesn't talk to any others, the EAS system gets its engine speed signal from the alternator TACH output wire, not the engine ECU, and the system can be wholly removed and a 300Tdi fitted without any adverse effects. The only requirement is for engine speed sense for ABS/ EAS, and that comes from the Alternator.
D2 is a whole lot more complex, and requires interfacing to other ECU's for them to work, like BCM etc.
