    Hmmm seem`s a good choice buying my hybrid rangie ute now Also have the same tyres as the shorty forty had at the start.Love the road of death over the mountains.5000 metres high,makes the high country in Vic a bit tame in comparison.When they were at altitude why did they not engage low range?That decent at the end was unreal , were in Oz would you do that?

    Reminds me of some of the 4wding we did working in the Middle East.

    Driving up a small track on a cliff face with 2000 foot of cliff above and a 2000 foot drop on the other side. Some sections had slipped away and only left enough room for the car to get through.

    I might put up a post with pics under international trip reports.

    And reminds me of crossing rivers in PNG picking up planks from behind and placing them in the front to cross a log bridge while driving the troupie.
