They will be my 'highway' tyres (35 simex spares for playing), but want mud tyres still. I have found great prices on maxxis today, but not convinced fully about them, having had buckshots as my highway set for last 2 years....absolutely useless in mud and slippery conditions. That said, 90% of the time, they will be for on the black stuff.
I can get them for $210 fitted or $245 for bighorn fitted.
Other best prices found (for tyres I like):
BFG km2s for $350
Mickeys (claws or mtz) for $330

Moorey shoot them an email, they usually will have responded by the morning and you deal with just the one person. They also wont take Aussie credit cards due to privacy laws and them getting ripped - direct deposit only, but thats not too hard.

Do your tyres have to be marked with some kind of Australian standard to be road legal?

Here in the EU the manufacturers have a canny trick. You cannot take advantage of the same tyres where available cheaper from the rest of the world as they do not have the EU standards codes on them and hence are not road legal.

If found to be driving on non EU tyres and have an accident insurance companies will walk away from you.

$1160 for 4, shipped, $290 per tyre. Not bad, but with fitting etc, not a huge saving. Cabbage maxxis looking good....with the extra savings to go into better shocks maybe...

Don't forget also that your Bank / Credit Card company etc will not use the 'official' exchange rate.. sometimes 5-10% lower..

Still hovering at around $1.25 a litre here, diesel is about $1.27 or there abouts.
