Doesn't really apply to that North Ryde precinct, it's bad in every direction. Its not just conventional peak hours either, because Macquarie Uni & a massive shopping centre are next door.
Most of the companies there do not have enough off street parking for their employees. And, the opening of the rail link has made matters worse not better, as the area is now a magnet for those who want a short train ride to the city. Macquarie shopping centre has really clamped down on all day parking to kick out the train commuters, putting pressure on the little street parking there is. There is no council car park there.
Don't drive to North Ryde unless
(a) you're very early or
(b) you have a parking space when you get there!

Many thanks to everybody for your guidelines, your posts are greatly appreciated and served me to get a much clear idea about the area where I am going to be working in.
Yes, I will have a parking space, but not sure if I can be at the office early enough... and, after all, I will not have have a car at the beginning.
I will try to find a location near to the office for, say, the first six months, and see what happens during this time.
Thanks for your help, guys !
