That doesn't leave much for the politicians.

So that's 50% for us + 40% towards new technology + 10% direct to the UN leaving how many %% to run the admin of this program ? .... oh, that comes out of internal revenue ... which is paid by ?
Climate change is real. I don't deny that. The climate is ALWAYS changing. Always has, always will, and in the big picture there isn't much we can do to change what mother nature wants to do. I'm all for finding ways to reduce our impact on the planet ... like stop manufacturing cheap throw away consumer goods ... make them properly, make them repairable, which in turn fosters growth in the service & repair industires (which the box merchant industries have no interest in), which in turn provides jobs & skills/training ... the old "it's cheaper to throw it away and buy a new one" is blatant enviromental vandalism ...
... but to use the excuse of "climate change" to hang a new tax on us is flawed.
This "carbon tax" is just 1 little portion of the UN's "Agenda 21" ... which they have been working on for almost the last 20yrs ... has anyone taken the time to get under the hood and understand what that Agenda 21 actually means for mankind ? I have asked over 100+ people this week if they have ever heard of Agenda 21 ... not one person had! Not one !
