    doesn't bother me

    Hi Inc

When I log out, a message tells me that cookies have been cleared.

After logging back in, I do get the message occasionally that the site is busy, so I count to ten and try again.

I do appreciate the effort you put into this forum and I for one do get a lot of enjoyment from this.

    Many thanks Arthur

When I leave the site I do not log out - would it help if we all logged out when we finished using the site and actually logged in when we came back?

This happens to me frequently of an evening but its been particularly bad tonight. I've taken to refreshing the page which may or may not get past the message, having re-logged on several times previously with no improvement.

Is the inability to edit a post connected to the current difficulties?

    Thanks.

Just wanted to add that in the most recent system issue we were getting something about having to be registered...and we are, and pay the highest sub fee. I think the system was just having a weird moment...brought on by the full moon perhaps. But any other time the server is busy we get the 'you're bypassing the busy server message' (that wording may be a bit off, but you get the gist).

Inc, just to be clear on what's happening, I can be trying to post to a thread or just viewing a thread and a box appears

"The server is busy, registered users have priority" and has a log in box, yet I'm already logged in and a subscriber, even has my user name, etc in the top right corner as usual....

It's happening more often than not in the last weeks, to the point it takes 1/2 hour at times just to view one thread or post to a thread.

I can post up browser, AV, ISP etc, if it helps.
