    Very nice. What we need is someone to do this with the Defender once it is replaced by the DC100 program.

    Indeed, and the difference is that Santana/Iveco got it right (or at least more right than LR). http://web.iveco.com/germany/collect...ch%C3%BCre.pdf

    3.0L Diesel, 130 HP, 400 Nm, 6 speed, large, strong rear diff, etc etc...

    The only thing they got wrong was the leaf springs.

    Instead of developing a new defender, LR should just sell rebadged ivecos with coil or air suspension.
