I think technically we are in South Maclean (south of the logan river) our mail box is at Jimboomba and the littly goes to Hills College. Actually starting to look in the southern Greenfield area, it has bigger trees with would mean better ground water. I guess we are limited by either driving her to school or to be on a bus route. Even though it is hurting our hip pocket to have her there, her school grades have improved out of sight and so has her attitude towards school in general

Greenfield? Do you mean Greenbank? We'd looked quite extensively up that way before settling on where we are, just south of Jimboomba.

Take a look at the Logan Council flood maps here, if you haven't already.

My two are at Flagstone State CC, and find it pretty good. We looked around Hills, and found that they seemed to be geared for the foreign paying students rather than locals. Plus some stories from our neighbour (a local teacher) kind of clinched it!

Yes greenbank - the one towards ipswich.

thanks for the flood maps I will have a good look at them

Interesting comment regarding Hills from the teacher? Kathy's sister is a teacher and we asked her what she had heard of Hills - was all good, while it is aimed at the Japanese market for the boarders there would be about 50/50 ration of international and local. It is a small school in the scheme of things which I like as it keeps a level of relationship that large schools just dont have. Kahli went from a C grade average in both the NT and SA to an A / A- average

I do like the area just south of Jimboomba and the view is great down that way as well
