We have used r407c quite a lot, using the additive in some systems, and in others that already have a compresser with synthetic oil, just using it replacing the R22.

Never had any real worries except for a couple of Copeland scrolls in AC systems.
I also now know others that have had the same issues, with Mitsubishi and Daikin scrolls as well.

We do have a site with 5 cold rooms, and a couple of huge cabinet systems, with numerous evaporaters, all on R407c,and no issues. That site is probably 20 yrs old.

Who'd've thought a urine extracting post could draw nearly two dozen serious responses?
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Paul, it probably had probably been correctly installed with care & had Pipe U Bend Oil Traps installed especially if under floor piping was involved.

I thought you would've learnt by now that any opportunity for a fridgey to wax lyrical on something technical is unavoidable! One for the fridgies

    Ridiculous.....
Found 30 systems short of gas, many cycling on LP.
    Nearly all Copeland Semi's.
15 of them are knocking or rattling,or shaking.

    And thats just the start

Sounds like you'll be buying a new Maserati or two?

In that Vac Pump image, it appears like there are a couple of semi- Naked women through that doorway.

Knocking Shop was it? Go on say it Paul,
"Can't say I noticed as I was going like a cat ****ting razor Blades trying to get that ****ing Pump working." Of course you were.
