I agree - I was shopping at my local Woolies for bread on Monday. I normally buy one loaf of Woolies Brand Toast bread for toast and is usually costs about $2.30 a loaf. On the sales tray it had Woolies Bread for $2.60 and that was supposed to be 40% off making the full price $4.33 a loaf
. This bread was going out like hot cakes (bread), yet over on the bread shelves the same bread was listed at its usual price of $2.30 and was not selling at all.
Same as people used to be happy to pay much more for petrol in Double Bay (the equiv of Toorak in Melb) because only quality goods are sold in Double Bay.
People are strange at times.
