Thanks mate, much appreciated. They have plenty of food stored away and the car has 3/4 of a tank of petrol. So they are as right as can be expected under the circumstances.
There's little you can do, I guess all they can do is wait it out.

Daughter has just EMailed me these photo's, she took this morning.
Road into Moore Park Beach, the floodwaters are starting to wash over the road, the Service Station is just around the corner to the left.
Another shot taken looking out from the Service Station.
Yep, there is a road under that water.
It looks like a boat ramp
Keeping in daily contact with my daughter, Moore Park Beach is still cut off and they are going to send food supplies in to the local IGA store by Blackhawk helicopter. A state of emergency was declared there yesterday, so I guess it brings that area in line with the rest of Bundaberg.
Good news is the flood waters appear to be slowly receding. Are other Forum members in Bundaberg doing OK????
when do they think the waters will recede completely back to the just the river
Don'y know the answer to that one, Tony. I am guessing it will be a while!!!
G'day all. Glad to see you faired reasonably well, all things considering.
Bris northside jobs are all but cleaned up, and we have a 50+ taskforce heading up there on Sunday.
If you have urgent need of medication or pers items that are unavailable locally, PM me by tomorrow lunchtime and I'll see what I can do about getting them up there. I'm not able to getaway, this time, but have people I trust to courier up.
Take care, Dave.
Cheers, BDave.

The drainage in Moore Park Beach is terrible, about 10mm in 500 meters. I know it because we went to the same trouble 2 years ago and surveyors measured the levels on the back lagoons.
It will take about a year for the water to come down to a healthy levels in the back lagoons. Mosquitos and smell will be terrible
I am glad that I sold just 12 months ago.
