There are reports that they picked up a Saudi and there are some that are quite specifically saying at they have not. Likewise the death numbers vary between 2 and 12, but including an 8yo. Injuries apparently have included limbs being blown off a person or some people.

they were saying on the news this morning that black powder was used
Alan Jones suspects it's foreign, radical left wing students according to the tv this morning. No evidence, just a hunch I think. His advice is to keep those types out of Australia. Make of that what you will.

Ball bearings, bits from home, I'd say it's more likely to be domestic rather than international.

And of course they're going to pick up the Saudi chap.
He could have just been in the wrong place at the wrong time, but because of our perceptions of these attacks, he'd be in the spotlight one way or the other.
