    Had No Internet

Our internet went down nine days and we only got it back last night. You don't realize how much you miss it until it is not there.

Whilst I have been on the phone back and forth to our ISP, I discussed getting a faster plan. Boy what a difference it made. It turned out that we were still on the same plan/speed when we first got the net connected in 2005.
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

Last year we had very intermittent internet for 3 weeks along with crackling phone line, when we finally got a helstra tech who gave a **** we got it fixed and a full credit for the month. Still get occasional drop outs when its above 35c or very wet - roll on NBN.

We'd had the same plan for about 7 years, $50 a month for 1G
Now we have full wireless, 50G a month for the same price and no excess fees. Keeps me happy

They are but I keep making them and uploading

There's only Em and Me home nowadays (empty nester at 40yo!!! Woohoo) and we do the 200gb quite easily.

It's the storage space that's a pita now.

We've got an unlimited plan, and we do make the most of it. Kids on Skype, YouTube, Xbox live, all of the ABC iView, SBS On Demand, UK TV programs and a download or two would eat up anything less.

    For $50 a month, I'm not quibbling.

like anything, if its important to you (like the internet) you will have a backup connection.
