There is one on here who knows who it is.

Not really a celebrity, more infamous than anything else after his TV series appearance.

Clearly not a good idea to name and shame on a public forum, but will happily share the good news around a camp fire

Is that an open invitation to a barby at your place?
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

To give you a bit more of a flavour of the guy, his wife is frightened stiff of dogs after being attacked a number of years ago. What kind of person would buy two Rottweilers, knowing that a)his wife was frightened of them, and b)she would have to look after them whilst he was away 2-3 weeks per month?

If you don't have the time, or a career that will not allow you the time, to devote to a dog (particularly high maintenance ones) you should not have them.
Absolutely spot on. And it is horrible to think it takes such bad situations to happen for people to realise the role a responsible dog owner is supposed to take on, especially when it is a large breed.

Should be a licensing process for dog ownership.

I am glad you are his neighbour, not me.

    Not any more!

His wife kicked him out. His behaviour over this was the final straw.

We had the whole 'clothes thrown on the front lawn, and threaten to set fire to them' scenario a few weeks ago.

Of course we didn't laugh at all. Well not much. Maybe a bit. Ok, I nearly ****ed myself laughing.

What's the point of having a BBQ if there's no molotovs allowed!

Hey mate, really sorry to hear about your missus, that is awful. As to your question in the initial post, I do have a large breed dog ie a German Shepherd. I've had them since I was a child. For one I love the breed but also because of the protection side as well. He is a well loved family pet but he also has a job to do and that is to look after the family. Whereas the useless as tits golden retriever of the missus falls more into the family pet category, and useless category.

    Regards

    Stevo
