He's a real sweetie when you get to know him.

We had a bloke in town here with a female partner (yes both ferals).
She bred Bull Mastiffs. They used to get out and roam for miles.
This day the woman next door phoned in a panic saying two dogs were savaging her sheep. I grabbed the Steyr, jumped the fence and managed to bowl one but the other got away. One sheep was dead the other had its face torn off. I shot it too after the owner took some photos.
The bloody dog was so heavy I couldnt move it so had to use the excavator to drag it up the hill and then dug a hole and buried it.
The next night around 2300 the two ferals banged on the door yelling and screaming "You shot my baby"
Not knowing what to expect I tooled up and opened the door.
Some heated discussion was entered into with lots of screaming and crying on her part but in the end to get rid of them I agreed to dig the dog up the next day so they could take it home.
The male dog made it home but it appeared I had shot the bitch.
The consensus in town after that was I had shot the wrong bitch.
    They were probably correct.

There were a number of items in that A Current Affair clip that don't match up with the known truth Arthur. And I'll leave it at that.

A mate had an engineering works, fabrication business in the Proserpine area. The area across the road got sub-divided into small acreage blocks for rich retirees and yuppies. The couple directly across from his works had two big dogs, I don't know what breed, that were not only escape artists but aggressive. One day the dogs ran into his yard, knocked down one of the workers and started chewing on him. I believe ball pein hammers and large shifting spanners were used to subdue the dogs. A complaint to council was made and resulted in " Council useless as usual." The owners retaliated in a continuing series of complaints to council about "untidy premises". This is ongoing and is subject to court action. The dogs continued to escape and menace people. My friend told me there is only one dog now which is kept well secured. "What happened to the other one" said I, having my suspicions. "I turned one big dog into two small ones with the twelve gauge when it attacked another one of my workers". A bit drastic maybe, but it worked.
